2009-10 Invitational Meet Schedule

What is an Invitational?

An invitational is a swim meet sponsored by one of our Suburban Aquatic Club teams which is in addition to our dual meet swim schedule. Participation in an invitational swim meet is optional. Swimming in an invitational meet provides the following benefits:

  1. It enables our swimmers to have additional swim meet experience and exposure.
  2. It enables our swimmers to compete against swimmers outside of our division.
  3. It enables our swimmers to swim against swimmers at their own level, as every race is organized by skill level.
  4. It enables our swimmers to be rewarded for their efforts through a system of medals and ribbons, designed to reward swimmers of all levels.

What Invitationals are available?

There are 8 invitationals offered by the Suburban Aquatic League. MAC intends to participate in 6 of those meets including:

How do I register?

Registration forms will be posted on the MAC website (www.methactonaquaticclub.org). Email reminders will also be forwarded to those that provide email addresses. Print and complete the form. Deliver the form and the exact enrollment fee (usually $4 per event) to either Cheryl Sattin, any one of our coaches, or place in the Invitational folder contained in the black mail box crate. Your fee will be forfeited if your child is enrolled and you then cancel.

NOTE: Hard copy registration forms will no longer be handed to the swimmers. PLEASE check the MAC website often for information and changes.
