USA Swimming with MAC for 2009-10 Winter Season

USA Swimming Registration

Any athlete participating in a USA swim meet must be registered with USA swimming.
USA swimming membership is $57.00 for the year.
2010 Athlete Registration Application is available below
Completed applications should be given to Meredith Dickinson or Dana Hazard by September 30, 2009, in order to Participate in the 1st USA meet opportunity
A check made payable to MAC-USA for $100.00 is required with each application, along with the USA Membership of $57.00

MAC USA Swimming Fees

MAC will be selecting USA meets during the winter session (September 2009 – March 2010) to offer to MAC USA registered athletes
For each of these selected meets, MAC will be sending one of our coaches with the participating athletes. (minimum of 3 swimmers for a coach to attend the meet)
In order to cover costs for the coaching, MAC will be collecting a fee of $100/athlete for this winter 2009-2010 season. The second swimmer in a family will be $25.00 off.
Travel meets – Additional Cost.

**Please note: In March 2009, the actual costs incurred for coaching at MAC selected USA meets will be compared to the collected fees, to see whether additional fees are due. This MAC USA Swimming Fee ($100/athlete) is an estimate-the actual coaching costs will depend on how many swimmers attend, how many sessions the swimmers are participating in there are morning sessions and afternoon sessions-depending on your gender/age group). If the coaching costs are more than these fees collected, each swimmer will be asked to reimburse an additional amount, regardless of how many meets they participate in.

Note: Fees mentioned above are structured for MAC members only. If you are not a MAC member, there may be additional fees.
Like the invitational meets, the USA meets do have a cost per event for each event entered. (Typically these fees are $4-$5/event.) These fees will be due to MAC-USA with your meet entries.
